Prepping for kindergarten

Zada and I made our first official trip for school supplies last weekend. The school had provided us a detailed list of required items and we unearthed them as best we could. Come to think of it, we still need to track down an old paint shirt, but I think everything else was properly appropriated, much to Zada's delight. She asked to play with the new crayons, glue, etc. with her new backpack. Yes, you can, my soon-departing dear.

And we also had sweet corn.
