My funny valentines

It's safe to say the candy has kicked in.

Early birds

The kids and I are catching a quick dinner out for valentine's day. They seem happy with their respective school parties and we still have a scavenger hunt to do (set up by Troy before he left for London). Cheers!

So much for the golf scholarship

Bad news, I think Zada inherited my golfing skills.

Sunshine in a box

Just yesterday we received a surprise gift from my cousin in Florida, a box of honeybell oranges. They entirely live up to the billing on the included bib, "Warning: Extremely Juicy Oranges!"
We just love them and I am really grateful.

Command center

With a night of puking behind her, Zada is now making a comeback; note the freshly washed hair and clean pajamas, always a promising sign of recovery. She's even up for arts and crafts, at least momentarily. Still feverish and lethargic during the day today she will be home from school tomorrow.

Super bowl bummer

We canceled our modest plans for the super bowl (dinner and snacks with the neighbors) as Zada is running a low temp and has been intermittently resting.

Sure sign of spring

Blame it on our unseasonably warm weather or the free coffee and cookie the grocery store just gave me, but things are looking up!
