Boating...check!

Boating was on our list of summer ideas so when our neighbors invited us to join them Thursday, we said, heck yea!
Zada was a champ on the tube by herself, Darby was a natural spotter, and I clearly missed my calling as a goggle model.

You could say we've been busy

One can often gauge how busy we've been during a given week by the clutter gathered in the front passenger seat of the car. We've added a couple more things since this picture was taken an hour ago, so yikes, we've been busy.

Too tired for Tball

Darby struggles to stay awake every day without a nap, and alternately struggles to fall asleep at night when he does have one. We have Tball in approximately 14 minutes with a five-minute drive. I think (and hope) he'll rally.

Darby (4) with Cole (15).

Dinner is solved!

Friday night camping dinner is Vi's pizza is Biwabik. We drove up for our second weekend of camping this summer. Although we did see high water, we did not have to drive through any. Northern Minnesota is drying out, well, just in the flooding out sense. The R bar was already bumping for happy hour. Cheers!

Hot fun

Our neighbors' makeshift slip and slide has been worth more than two and a half hours of fun! Sore bellies are a-coming.

Lozilu 2012

Along with the running, which was an up- and down-hill adventure, there were several obstacles to conquer, all of which had charmingly feminine names as identified below. I had my doubts going into this thing, but would certainly do it again, as long as my fellow Dirts joined me.

This first obstacle was the Mani-Pedi
